VOCAL COACHING
Kasia is a vocal coach with extensive experience running a private practice and training performers at some of the UK's leading drama schools. She holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre from ArtsEd London and is currently completing her Master's Degree in Vocal Pedagogy with the Voice Study Centre. Her research focuses predominantly on: vocal fatigue and the biophysiological mechanisms that underpin the condition, along with strategies for its mitigation and prevention. Kasia's work aims to translate the complexities of vocal fatigue and its aetiology into accessible and actionable guidance for professional voice users.
Kasia has worked extensively with the Estill method under the mentorship of Andy Follin, one of the North's leading EMTs. Andy works closely with internationally respected voice specialist Janice Chapman on the delivery of CVT, based on the acclaimed book SATS. This pedagogical influence, combined with Kasia's grounding in research-informed, evidence-based practice, shapes her functional approach to coaching. She supports clients in developing efficient, sustainable technique, enabling them to meet the demands of strenuous schedules and high intensity vocal performance. Kasia is also a certified vocal manual therapist, having trained in myofascial release under Robert Price at the Voice Care Centre, and additionally holds a Level 2 qualification in Vocal Health First Aid.
Having trained and worked as a professional vocalist, Kasia has performed as a soloist at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Trafalgar Square, the London Hippodrome Casino, The Southbank Centre, The London 02 Indigo Arena and various other renowned concert venues across the UK. Her experiential knowledge also informs her coaching and enables her to provide clients with practical insight alongside technical development.
Alongside running her private practice at Tileyard North, Kasia is currently one of the technical voice tutors on the degree course at Emil Dale Academy and has taught at a number of arts colleges across the UK. Her students have secured places at leading drama schools including as ArtsEd, Mountview, Emil Dale, GSA, Urdang and CSSD, and her clients can be seen performing in West End, regional and international productions.
